Auldern Girls Do Have Social Lives

Activities
Downtime at Auldern Academy is anything but lazy and dull. Student life staff at our girls boarding school coordinate weekend activities and students have the opportunity to enjoy a large variety of both on- and off-campus events.

On Campus:  ice cream sundae and movie nights, high teas, poetry readings, cookout and field days, spa days, talent shows, dance classes and sewing lessons.

Off Campus: ice skating, horseback riding, shopping at South Point Mall, white water rafting, Paramount Carowinds Amusement Park, International Dinner Night, movies, live theatre productions, Emerald Point Water Park, beach trips, trips to Biltmore Estate, the Eno River Festival, gem mining, concerts and live sporting events.

Student Life Center
The student activities center provides a warm, therapeutic, common gathering place for students.

Amenities at the SLC include a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, television with satellite service, VCR, DVD player, stereo and electronic piano, along with a dance studio, and fitness equipment.

Auldern Academy maintains a school store where students can purchase hygiene and toiletry items, notebooks, and snacks. Additional items are accessible for purchase via student trips to  local Wal-Mart and Target stores.
